Overview

WHAT IS QORRECT

Qorrect is an iOS application that automatically adds international country code prefixes to phone numbers in your contacts. This helps ensure your contacts are properly formatted for international calling.

For example: If you have a US number like "2125551234", Qorrect will automatically update it to "+12125551234" to make it internationally callable.

IMPORTANT NOTES

The application only modifies the phone number fields of your contacts - it never changes any other contact information.
Before making any changes, the application automatically creates a backup of your contacts.
You can remove all international prefixes if you want to revert to local format.
Each modification is tracked with a backup, allowing you to restore previous states if needed.
The app only processes contacts with phone numbers from enabled countries. If a country is not enabled, contacts with numbers from that country will not be processed.

HOW IT WORKS

SCANNING CONTACTS

Qorrect scans your contacts looking for phone numbers that are missing their international country code prefix (like +30 for Greece).

COUNTRY DETECTION

The app uses your device's region setting to detect your home country. You can also manually select another country from the list.

AUTOMATIC FORMATTING

Based on your selected country's dialing rules, the app identifies which numbers need to be updated with the international format.

SAFE UPDATES

Before applying any changes, Qorrect automatically creates a backup of your contacts. You can restore from backups in the settings if needed.

NAME ISSUE DETECTION

Qorrect also identifies contacts with potential name formatting issues, such as having two or more words in a single name field or single-word names that may need manual review.

Guide

HOW TO USE

Open the Qorrect app on your iOS device
Go to Settings > Country Settings to configure which countries you want to enable
Return to the main screen
Toggle "Process all contacts" on if you want to update existing numbers, or off if you only want to process contacts without international prefixes
Tap "Process Contacts" to begin
Review any name issues detected and use the appropriate icons to resolve them
Wait for the process to complete
You'll see a success notification with the number of processed contacts

PRIVACY NOTICE

For Greek name suggestions, only first and last names are sent anonymously to our secure servers - no phone numbers, emails, or other identifiers are ever transmitted. All other contact processing happens locally on your device. For more information, please see our Privacy Policy.
