  1. Select Folder: Choose your Tesla dashcam folder from Files app or external USB drive

The telemetry overlay displays the following real-time vehicle data:

  • 🏃 Speed: Current vehicle speed in MPH or KM/H
  • 🎯 Steering Angle: Wheel icon with rotation angle in degrees
  • ⚡ Throttle/Brake Bar: Vertical bar with value displayed inside
    • Green: Accelerating (shows 1-99%)
    • Green + Glow: Full throttle (shows "F")
    • Red: Braking (shows "B")
    • Yellow: Both pedals pressed (shows throttle %)
  • 🚗 Autopilot Status: Color-coded steering wheel icon (always visible)
    • 🔵 Blue: FSD (Full Self-Driving) active

    • 🟠 Orange: TACC (Traffic-Aware Cruise Control) active

    • All indicators are permanently burned into exported videos. Sound effects are mixed as a second audio track with adjustable volume.

    1. Open a clip with telemetry data
    2. Navigate to the timestamp you want to document
    3. Tap the Export button (share icon)
    4. Select "PDF Report" from the export mode selector
    5. Report generates immediately and opens in preview
    6. Share via the built-in viewer (email, AirDrop, Files, print)

    Note: This is an UNOFFICIAL report for informational purposes. Data accuracy depends on Tesla vehicle firmware and hardware. This document should not be considered as legal evidence without proper authentication.

    ⚠️ REQUIREMENTS

    Telemetry data is only available for:

    • Tesla vehicles with AI3 or AI4 computer
    • Firmware version 2025.44.25 or later
    • Videos recorded while vehicle is in motion

    Camera configuration:

    • AI3: 4 cameras (front, back, left repeater, right repeater)
    • AI4: 6 cameras (adds left pillar, right pillar)

    Note: Not all dashcam clips contain telemetry metadata. Clips recorded while parked or from older firmware versions will play without telemetry overlay.

    🔧 SETUP INSTRUCTIONS

    1. Go to Settings in the app
    2. Select your telemetry provider
    3. Enter your API key (Tessie), sign in via OAuth (TeslaScope), or enter your server URL (TeslaMate)
    4. Select your vehicle from the list
    5. Data will be fetched automatically when viewing clips

    Note: Provider data is cached locally in sidecar files and fetched in the background for optimal performance. Your API keys are stored securely in the device Keychain.
