Troubleshooting

Clips not importing

Check the file format — Tesla saves MP4 files in TeslaCam/ and SavedClips/ folders. Make sure the drive is properly connected and the files are accessible through the Files app.

No telemetry showing

Verify your API key or connection credentials in the app settings. Ensure your telemetry provider (Tessie, TeslaMate, or TeslaScope) is online and has data for the clip's timestamp.

Export fails

Check that you have enough available storage on your device. 4K ProRes exports can be very large. Try reducing the export quality or selecting fewer cameras.

App crashes on large clips

Try reducing the export quality or splitting long recordings into shorter segments. Ensure your device is running the latest version of iOS/macOS.
